OUR STORY

Welcome to Bello, where tradition meets taste in every pizza! Our studio is a slice of Naples nestled in the heart of Oxford.  We’re dedicated to the art of authentic Neapolitan pizza. Our secret lies in the simplicity and freshness of our ingredients, starting with our dough—handcrafted daily with the finest “00” flour, naturally leavened overnight, rested to perfection to create our signature light, airy crust with the delicate char. 

I built a pizza oven, quit my day job and spent a year developing techniques, tools, talents and confidence to open Bello.  My second career began as an artisan Neapolitan Pizzaiolo.  I love it and thanks for coming in to see us.  Our business is to give you an amazing, unique and delicious dining experience.

At Bello, we honor the centuries-old art of Neapolitan pizza-making. Our pizzas are a testament to the flavors of Italy, with each ingredient sourced for its quality and authenticity. From the San Marzano tomatoes grown in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius to our creamy mozzarella, every topping is chosen to bring you authentic Neapolitan pizza.

Our wood-fired oven is the heart of our operation and was built on-site.  The intense heat of the oven locks in flavor and gives your pizzas their distinctively bubbly, crisp edges and thin crunchy center.
